The MISD Board of Trustees met on December 18 for their regular meeting to discuss business. During their meeting, they recognized students and staff for their accomplishments.

Employees for the Month of November were recognized. Jennifer Lund, MES; Karen Farrar, MMS; Amanda Dinnean, MHS; and Don Sherley, MISD.

MMS and MES were recognized for being named among the top 28% of elementary schools and top 17% of middle schools of the best public schools in Texas by US News and World Report.

MHS Volleyball Manager Paige Shields and Student Athletic Trainer Sadie Hartman were recognized along with District Honors.
